The Academies Transfer Window is now closed. 

The window of opportunity to apply for student transfers for high school Academies, Dual Language Academy at Isenberg Elementary, Competency-Based Education at Morgan Elementary, and School Choice option at North Rowan High School for the 2024-2025 school year was open from January 4 through January 24, 2024.  

Once the window of opportunity has closed, there will be no further opportunity to apply for Academy entrance for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Academy application decisions will be sent to parents by February 12, 2024.

High School Academies

High school Academy applications are for rising 9th-grade students who desire to transfer to any of the following academies:

East Rowan - Human Services Academy
Jesse Carson - Academy of the Arts 
North Rowan - Entrepreneurship & Design Academy
Salisbury -  STEM Academy
South Rowan - Communications and Digital Design Academy
West Rowan - Agriculture/Farm to Table Academy

Academies Fair

There will be an Academies Fair on TBD at the Wallace Forum located at 500 N Main St here in Salisbury from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Come and explore various academies showcasing their programs.
