The Rowan-Salisbury School System is offering lucrative signing bonuses for teaching positions at 13 of its schools. In addition, the district will host a virtual job fair on Wednesday, July 7, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Zoom.

The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education named Shonda Hairston and Brooke Zehmer as new Executive Directors of Elementary Schools and named Ronald Dixon, Jr. as the new Executive Director of Middle Schools beginning in July.

The Rowan-Salisbury School System's (RSS) Summer Meals Program begins Thursday, June 3, and will run through July 29.
"I grew up truly loving school, and my school system loved me back. I came from a very supportive family,” says Clara. “But as a teacher I want to flip that script and give every student equal opportunity to achieve.”
