North Carolina Beginning Teachers participate in the Beginning Teacher Support Program for the first three years of their teaching career. The program is designed provide Beginning Teachers with support and feedback to assist them in their continued growth in the content, knowledge, and skills associated with effective teaching. Each district creates and follows an approved Beginning Teacher Support Plan (BTSP).
