Raffle for PTA and WR Bible Teachers

Raffle benefiting WRMS PTA & WR Bible Teachers. Students can buy tickets during lunch on Friday, March 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Cost is $1.00 per ticket for $5.00 or 6 tickets. Drawing will be held on Friday, March 30th at PTA’s donation Spaghetti Dinner at Centenary UM, Mt. Ulla.

Rowan-Salisbury Schools Pilots State Renewal Program

The State of North Carolina passed HB 986 enabling qualifying school districts to become a renewal district. Currently only Rowan-Salisbury Schools district qualifies. On June 28th the RSS Board of Education elected to participate in this program. Click for details.

Renewal School System

Today the General Assembly passed an Education Bill (H986) which would allow Rowan-Salisbury Schools the opportunity to become a Renewal School System.

Rowan County Recyclers

Rowan County School students were offered the Go Green Challenge as a Problem Based Learning event. Winners were recognized at the April Board of Education meeting. There was a winning class for the Elementary and High School levels.
