Personal Message from Coach Puglia:

West Rowan Soccer family, friends, and fans - Thank you so much for taking the time to view our fundraiser page. Your support will help us offer a higher quality experience for all our athletes. You will be getting a receipt for your gift. If you could please spread the word about our fundraiser by sharing it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter we would greatly appreciate it. Our young women have been working hard to properly represent this great school. Any support is greatly appreciated. Go Falcons! - Coach Puglia

Help raise funds for Wrestling Team

A message from John Brown, Head Wrestling Coach:

We are trying to raise money for the West Rowan Wrestling Team.  As you can see in the photo we desperately need new warm ups.  We raised some money during the season, but fell short of our goal.  We also need an alternate set of uniforms.  Any funds raised would also help  for tournament entry fees, and anything needed for the wrestlers (head gear, knee pads, mat tape etc...).  Our Team had a successful season this year finishing with a 16-4 record, and qualifying for  the state playoffs. The team has worked hard,  and I think they deserve to look good while out on the mat representing West Rowan High School.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Online College Fair - March 13

Open to all Juniors and Seniors

Please Pre-Registration at:  http://collegefair.thebigvirtual.com

Students will be able to log in and interact with college admissions and financial aid counselors from a variety of colleges, universities, and trade schools.

WRHS Counselors will help facilitate for students; details will come closer to that date.

With next year’s proposed school calendar posted for input, we have heard from our community about considering the option of completing first-semester high school exams before students leave for the Christmas/Winter break in December.

While under NC state legislation, we are unable to start the school year earlier, it is possible to have a shorter 1st semester, and begin the 2nd semester following the Christmas/Winter break in January, and we would like your feedback.

Therefore, please click on this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CalendarHS to take a quick survey and provide your input as we move forward.

Thank you for your support.

Making the Holidays Merry

RSS staff with the support of local and corporate donors delivered toys and food along the Yum Yum Bus route on December 21. Each family that came to the drop off point received a bag of food and a toy for each child.

Special thanks to Food Lion who both donated food and sent help to pack food bags for families.
