Unless otherwise noted, all clubs at SEMS are open to all students. To join a club, contact one of the teachers in charge.
The SEMS social book club is an opportunity for bibliophiles (book lovers) to come together and share their love of great stories. The club will choose a book, read independently during the week, then come together each Friday afternoon to chat about the book.
When: Every Friday, 2:30 to 3:30 (no meeting on early release days)

Art club is an after school extra-curricular activity that provides students the opportunity to meet new friends or join with current friends that share an interest in art. Art club gives students who would not otherwise receive art in school (band or chorus students) the opportunity to gain art experience. In art club students have opportunities to learn new art techniques and styles. They also have the freedom to pursue their own art interests. Students have the option of working individually or on collaborative projects. Art club is open to everyone.

YCI is a student led time of playing games such as Bible Stand-off, scripture searches, powerful videos, prayer, and scripture reading. Testimonies and guest speakers come throughout the year.
When: Thursday mornings, 7:00-7:30

During the morning news club, students will experience filming the news using iPads and green screen software as well as being on screen reading the news with character and flair. Students on the news will be famous in our building!

The GREEN TEAM is a student club that empowers students and teachers to help the environment through waste reduction, recycling, energy conservation, and pollution prevention. Any students interested in applying for GREEN TEAM can get an application from your homeroom teacher.
When: During PIE time

This club is for 7th and 8th grade students who meet academic, behavioral, and extracurricular standards. You will need to have at least two teacher recommendations and write an essay about why you want to be part of Junior Honor Society.
In this club, students will work to enrich the lives of those in need in our school and community through various service projects.
When: Once a month, from 2:30-3:00
