Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 15th at 2 p.m. Knox is having its annual 5K Race to help raise money for its athletic program. Knox students and staff can register for only $5 before race day. Please share this with your family, friends and neighbors. We welcome runners and runners of all skill levels. So, come join us on April 15th!

Knox had 43 students attend the Jr. Beta Club Convention February 5th and 6th in Greensboro, NC. They participated in various challenges including robotics, art, subject area drills, tower of power, speech, poetry and others. Our own Mallory Link received 2nd place recognition for Language Arts. We are very proud of these Trojans!
On March 26, 27 and 28th (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), the Knox Eighth Grade will have the opportunity to travel to Black Mountain, North Carolina to participate in a three day learning opportunity at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly.
The window to apply for the Magnet Program at Knox is now open. The applications are due March 29, 2018. Knox is pleased to offer courses eligible for HS credit. Click on news title for more information.
Knox is excited to have begun their partnership with Novant Health. Medical professionals have visited the school to discuss the various opportunities available in the medical field. Our hope is encourage our students to pursue a career related to health.
The STEM Club is a new program at Knox this year. Approximately 100 students meet each Monday after school to participate in the club. A group of science and math teachers from the school host the club and provide hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities for the students.
