BETA Club Members

 Knox had 43 students attend the Jr. Beta Club Convention February 5th and 6th in Greensboro, NC. They participated in various challenges including robotics, art, subject area drills, tower of power, speech, poetry and others. Our own Mallory Link received 2nd place recognition for Language Arts. We are very proud of these Trojans!

Open house for the 2019-2020 school year has been scheduled for August 5th. There will be 2 opportunities on this day for you to come and see the wonderful things Knox has in store for the new school year. 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm are the 2 times allotted for you to visit the school that day. Mark your calendar now to start the new school year off right!

Free Produce!

Bread Riot will be visiting the Knox Middle School meal site on Wednesday, June 19th to distribute free, local produce.

Intimidators Reward Reading and Literacy

The Reading All Stars program likes to recognize greatness in school and reward students for reaching their goals and it is a team initiative to enhance literacy in the area.

We are looking for girls who like to run! GOTR is a mentoring program for young ladies that is centered around running. Each week we meet to discuss/ engage in age appropriate skills that address the whole child. They are also building stamina for a 5K in May that allows the ladies to walk or run. Pep Rally

Knox held a pep rally as part of their Spirit Week activites. One of the events that took place during the pep rally was a free-throw contest which was won by siblings, K. Cortez and Y. Pimentel.

Knox JV Boys Basketball Defeat China Grove

Completing the full circle of competition in the RSS JV basketball schedule, the Knox Trojans (6-1) engaged in battle with the (2-4) China Grove Devils. The final score was Knox-54 and China Grove-30. This game almost mirrored the first meeting between these two teams.
