Rowan-Salisbury’s high schools will host in-person graduation ceremonies this year.
Rowan-Salisbury Schools will host Rowan College Application Week April 26-30. Students will have access to on-site assistance with college applications, waived application fees, and FASFA resources.

Meet Our Community
Mr. Marchinko is a recent graduate of UNC-Charlotte and a former graduate from Carson high school. He is excited to be back at his old stomping grounds where he will be our general curriculum EC teacher. His hobbies outside of school include running and playing disc golf.
Sra. Maestre is from Colombia and just became a United States Citizen on July 31st 2020. She got her degree in Modern Languages as an Spanish and ESL teacher in a Colombian University. Besides being a teacher, she loves singing and playing the piano. Her first language is Spanish but she tries her best in English. She also loves trying different types of food and visiting new places. She always trys to see the bright side of life in every situation.

Ms. Bowman graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Special Education. She spent her first four years of teaching in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a self-contained teacher for students with Autism. She is coming to Carson as a CCAC teacher from Shive Elementary. Her hobbies include sewing, crocheting, and playing guitar. Charity is excited to begin her 6th year of teaching at JCHS!
