Congratulations to Ms. Foster for being our Digital Superstar for November! Great job thinking outside the box with Kahoot!
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Mrs. Velma Knox. Many of you know her, most recently, as the car rider line director but she is so much more than that to our school.
Mrs. Knox worked at Hurley for 28 years, and has devoted her last few years to voluntary duties every single day. You may see her in the office in the mornings or afternoons greeting you with pride!
She always offers structure with a smile to every student she sees, and puts their safety at the forefront of her day. We are so thankful for Mrs. Knox and appreciate her dedication to the mission at Hurley.
Last week, PTA awarded her with the Velma Knox Volunteer Award. She is the first to receive the award and PTA will continue to award a volunteer each year with the award that deservingly carries her name.
We ❤️ Mrs. Knox! #shineasone
