Dr. Kelli Goins Dalton will serve as the Rowan-Salisbury School System's new Executive Director for Human Resources beginning in July.
Dr. Dalton will lead the district's employee relations efforts and will spearhead several TSL grant projects, including performance-based compensation and teacher evaluation.
Dr. Dalton began her educational career with Davidson County Schools as a teacher at Davis-Townsend Elementary School. Over the course of several years, she served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal of an elementary and middle school and assistant director of human resources with Davidson County Schools. For the past three years, she has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Thomasville City Schools.
Dalton received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Relations from High Point University, a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro while she was a NC Principal Fellow, an Education Specialist in Educational Administration from Appalachian State University and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from High Point University.
Her educational focus is students first, and she strives to be a thought partner with other educational professionals while holding high expectations for herself.
She is married to her husband, Scott, and has a daughter and a son, Ragan and Jackson.
