The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education approved Superintendent Dr. Lynn Moody’s recommendation to name Mr. Nick Anderson as the new principal at Isenberg Elementary School during a special called meeting on July 27, 2020.
Mr. Anderson has over 11 years of experience in education and currently serves as assistant principal at Isenberg – a position he has held for the previous 3 years. He began his career in education serving as a classroom teacher in first, second and third grades. Mr. Anderson also has additional administrative experience serving as a technology facilitator and as a dean of students.
Mr. Anderson served four years in the United States Marine Corps-Reserve.
Mr. Anderson received two Bachelor Degrees - one in Sports Management from Liberty University and the other in Elementary Education from Belmont Abbey College. He received his Master’s in Education as a Reading Specialist and his Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Mr. Anderson is currently working towards his Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
