State Employees Credit Union Foundation People Helping People deadline for submission of recipients is March 29, 2018.
Based on questions we have received from parents, students, and counselors throughout the state, we wanted to remind you of the following requirements:
- SECU Foundation no longer distributes scholarship materials or applications directly to public high schools, but communicates directly with facilitators at the LEAs. This information should be distributed to all high schools and early colleges in your district.
- Please ensure high schools are posting scholarship information for all to see. Information should be posted to the high school websites, and may be shared via email or letter to the students and their parents, and shared during morning announcements or senior assemblies.
- Students graduating from an early college or cooperative innovative public high school are still eligible for the $10,000 People Helping People scholarship. Please remember, a single $10,000 award cannot be split between students.
Should you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
