Dr. Baldwin has 13 years of experience in education and currently serves as an Assistant Principal for Montgomery County Schools. She began her career in education as a social studies teacher and later taught civics, economics and history. Dr. Baldwin also assisted with the recruitment of teachers and with the retention of beginning minority teachers. She has experience serving as both a track and cheerleading coach.
Dr. Baldwin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and African-American Studies with a minor in History and Spanish, and received her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Greensboro. She received a Post Master’s Certificate in School Administration and a Doctorate in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner Webb University.
She resides with her husband Cedric, daughters Amari and Malia and son CJ.
Dr. Baldwin is very excited about serving Rowan-Salisbury Schools at China Grove Middle as your principal.
Mr. Adam DeLand works closely with 6th grade students, while Mr. Jason Rivers works with 8th grade students.
