Our Progress - District Level
Through House Bill 986, Renewal status has allowed Rowan-Salisbury Schools to think differently about how we effectively serve our students. Through flexibility regarding calendar, curriculum, personnel, and finance we are able to develop new ways to meet the unique needs of the students in each of our 34 schools. However, the process of rethinking public education from the ground up is not an easy one. Therefore, we have restructured our central office to reflect design teams and created a committee of Project Managers who oversee the large Renewal Projects that make up our district-level work. Below is a live project board that is updated at project management meetings twice per month. This website is meant to reflect the work we have completed, are currently working on, and our work to come.
