At SEMS, we are offering another reward for students who read at least 40 articles with 75% or better by 8am, Monday, December 4th.
The students who qualify will have choices to sign up for the following:
- Carson - Theatre Arts program
- South Rowan - Communications & JROTC
- West Rowan - Farm to Table program/greenhouses/farm animals
Yearbooks are now on sale in the front office. $16 for soft cover, $22 for hardcover, and $5 extra for your name on the front.
They may be purchased through the Herff Jones website, mail, or school. CASH ONLY at school. The last 2 years we have sold out quickly, so order early so you will not be left out!

Annabel was honored at the September school board meeting for raising over $6000 to purchase books for the RSS Summer Feed/Read program
At the September Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education business meeting, RSS Teacher of the Year, Abby Covington, received the Phillip J. Kirk, Jr. Honored Educator Scholarship award.
