Breakfast Basics with Santa- Dec.14, 7:15-8:00am

Take a picture with Santa, have breakfast and a quick in-class lesson with your student. Cost of picture with Santa: 2 canned goods or monetary donation to go toward purchasing food for families in need.

Holiday Performance- Dec.14, 6:00pm

Come out and enjoy Hurley’s Kindergarten and 2nd Grade Holiday Performance. Students report to classrooms @ 5:45

Pajama Day- Dec.20

For $1.00 students will be able to wear appropriate pajamas to school. Please send money to their classroom teacher.

Charleston Wraps Fundraiser

When: October 16th-October 30th

What: Charleston Wraps. We will be bringing around the catalogs for students to bring home on Monday the 16th. Each box contains enough catalog envelopes for each student, teacher and incentive poster for your class. The front office will have lots of extras.

Breakfast Basics

Parents/Guardians are invited to the 1st quarter Communities in Schools Breakfast Basics. This will include breakfast and a quick in-class lesson with your student. Parents, swing by the media center for doughnuts and coffee then join your child in their classroom!

Snow Day!

School was cancelled on January 17, 2018 for snow. Everyone stay warm and off the roads! Don't forget to work on your reading challenge and then go have some fun in the snow!

Making the Holidays Merry

RSS staff with the support of local and corporate donors delivered toys and food along the Yum Yum Bus route on December 21. Each family that came to the drop off point received a bag of food and a toy for each child.

Special thanks to Food Lion who both donated food and sent help to pack food bags for families.
