Tech Projects and Plans
Our 5-Year Technology Plan outlines the district’s long-term vision for building a secure, modern, and innovative learning environment. It focuses on four key pillars: empowering learners, equipping educators, securing systems, and exploring emerging technologies.
The plan includes major initiatives such as:
• Device refresh cycles
• Network infrastructure upgrades
• Cybersecurity enhancements
• Instructional technology integration
• Student-led innovation (e.g., Help Desks, eSports, AI readiness)
RFPs
Rowan-Salisbury Schools is committed to transparency and competitive procurement for all major technology initiatives. Our Requests for Proposals (RFPs) provide detailed specifications and requirements for vendors interested in supporting district-wide projects — such as infrastructure upgrades, device refreshes, software solutions, and classroom technology.
All active RFPs will be posted here when available. If no RFPs are currently open, please check back regularly for upcoming opportunities.
Note: All E-Rate eligible projects are bid and posted through the USAC E-Rated portal in accordance with federal guidelines.
Vendors with questions are encouraged to contact the Technology Department for guidance or clarification.
